Terms of use
Version 1.0 of 2026-10-24.
These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of the overlay.uz service: Karshiyev Suxrob Suxvat oʻgʻli, a private individual, Republic of Uzbekistan. By registering with the service or using it, you accept these terms.
What the service is
overlay.uz is a stream overlay offered as a service: alerts, chat, goals, donations, CS2 and FaceIt data, reports, the dock and the dashboard, the scene page for OBS and the OBS plugin. The service runs on the operator's server; the only thing you may install on your computer, if you wish, is the OBS plugin.
The beta and the price
The service is in development. During the beta it is free. Features may change, appear and disappear, and the service may be interrupted.
If the service becomes paid, we will tell you in advance. Paid terms will apply to you only with your consent, and nothing is charged for the time you used it free.
The account
You sign in with Twitch or Google. You are responsible for the platform accounts you sign in with and for the links to your overlay and dock: a link with a key gives access to your overlay, so do not publish it. If a key has reached someone else, write to us and we will issue a new one.
Age
The service may be used by persons aged 18 and over. Persons under 18 may use it only with the consent of a parent or guardian, confirmed by a checkbox at registration.
Your duties
- Connect only your own channels and accounts, or those you have the right to manage.
- Follow the rules of the platforms you connect: Twitch, YouTube, Taps and others.
- Do not use the service for unlawful content or to deceive viewers or donors.
- Do not disrupt the service: do not overload it, do not get around access limits, and do not test it for vulnerabilities without our consent. If you find a vulnerability, write to us.
You are responsible for what is shown on your stream, including the viewers' texts the overlay displays. The word filter helps but does not guarantee that no unwanted word reaches the stream.
YouTube
The service uses YouTube API Services. By connecting YouTube, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. How data from YouTube is processed is described in the privacy policy and in the Google Privacy Policy.
Your data and materials
Your settings, layouts and materials remain yours. You allow us to store and process them only so that the service works for you. Personal data is processed under the privacy policy.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is”. We try to keep it running without failures, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every version of OBS and the platforms, or that every platform event reaches the overlay. The platforms change their rules and interfaces, and a feature may stop working through no fault of ours.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for lost profit, lost donations or income, stream failures or other indirect losses. While the service is free, the operator's liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the service, that is, zero. This does not limit liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.
Ending and deletion
You may stop using the service at any time and delete your account; how data is deleted is described in the privacy policy.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the platforms' rules. If the service closes as a whole, we will announce it at least 30 days in advance.
Changes to the terms
We may change these terms. A new version is published on this page with its number and date. We announce significant changes at least 14 days before they take effect. If you do not agree with a new version, you may delete your account; by using the service after the changes take effect, you accept them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan. We first try to settle a dispute by correspondence; if that fails, it is settled in court in the manner established by the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Languages
The terms are published in Russian, Uzbek and English. If the texts differ, the Russian text prevails.
